MAY FAVOURITES

Well hello there!
Here we are again, the end of another month! Only a few new makeup products for me and 1 skincare item, I'm trying to stop buying so much haha!

This lipstick on me is a kind of my lips but better shade, which is perfect for work. It is not a matte lipstick and I am loving it because it does not dry my lips out. I have been wearing it constantly when I want a bit more colour on my lips which is becoming nearly every day. It is super cheap as well as it is from Revolution, so you can pick this up for £3.

This is also another product which is good for day to day, it has really pale shades, a couple of warm shades and darker shades. I use the browny tones shades all in my crease and on my lid when I don't want to do a full eyeshadow look but I do want something there. I am definitely going to be reaching for this more as it is such good quality and the shades are really pigmented. This palette costs £18 which I think is a really good price, although I wish it had a mirror.

I have been using this every single day, I use wipes to take my makeup off which I know is very bad and I shouldn't but it is really quick and easy for me. I always feel like wipes do not completely take your makeup off, so I put some of this on a cotton pad and cleanse my face. There is always left over makeup/dirt on the pad so I definitely think this extra step is very necessary. I love this range by The Body Shop, it is very good for blemish prone skin.

I know this is a very expensive primer, I do have the travel size which I got in a set but if you have dry skin I think this is a very good primer. I used a matte foundation which normally clings to my dry patches, however when I put this underneath the foundation and set it with a non drying powder it did not cling to my dry patches whatsoever. I was absolutely amazed because I get self conscious about my dry patches as my skin never used to be like this. If you have dry skin I can assure you the Too Faced Hangover products work an absolute dream.

So those are my May Favourites!
Thank you so much for reading,

TARTIEST PRO TO GO GLOW PALETTE REVIEW

Well hello there!
Today I have got a review post for you which I feel like I have not done in ages even though my last review post was on the 10th May. I love doing review posts for you guys, they are definitely my favourite posts to write. The Tartiest Pro to Go Glow Palette is high end, however they have sales on all the time so if you do like the sound of this palette I would wait until hey have another sale, as this palette can be as cheap as £11 when it is originally £23.

Packaging
As the name is Pro to Go Glow Palette, it is indeed a travel palette that has two highlighter shades and 1 contour shade. It also has a mirror which I love as when you are travelling you always need a little mirror to do your makeup. It does feel nice and luxurious which you would expect for the price. I don't know how to describe what the packaging but it definitely has not got a smooth feel but it does feel nice and different. The packaging does look and feel high end as do all of the other Tarte products.

Swatches

Application
When applying these, you see that they are extremely pigmented and the palette smells like chocolate. The shades are not powdery and even though I have pale skin I can make the contour shade work if I use a light hand. The highlighters are very smooth and do not just look like a stripe of it on my cheekbones which I love about it.

Longevity
I knew this would be the case as it is high end, but the contour and the highlighter was 100% still on my face at the end of the day. None of it had faded whatsoever, so if I was going on a night out and needed something that would last I would definitely use this palette.

Opinion
To be quite honest this is an amazing palette, but it isn't something I would say go and buy it now because it will change your life. It is very expensive for 3 pans but as it is a high end brand they are obviously not going to charge drugstore prices. It is extremely pigmented and long lasting which is amazing as some drugstore palettes do not last all day long. If you are on the hunt for a high end travel palette for contour and highlighters, then I would recommend this one. However not everyone can afford palettes like this so if you can't I would say give this one a miss. If you do like the sound of this palette, then you can buy this here.

So that was my review on the Tarte Tartiest Pro to Go Glow Palette.
Thank you so much for reading,

FACE PRODUCTS THAT ARE WORTH THE SPLURGE

Well hello there!
For today's post I thought I would talk about a few high end products, I don't usually do this as I am a drugstore gal but it could be good for people who don't have the money to buy high end products and would like to know about a couple of them. I don't buy high end products a lot, it is more of a occasional thing and I don't have much more than what I am about to show you. I have got together some face products, barring eyebrows because I only have drugstore products, and I am going to share with you what I love about them. This post will solely be on complexion products (baring one lip product), if you would like me to do a eye makeup version then please let me know in the comments.

I know not a lot of people are big fans of this primer, but for me I love silicone primers to fill in my pores. This one is the exact same as the original Porefessional but this one just has a soft-radiance to the finish. The full size of this costs £27.50, but Benefit do minis so if you do not want to splurge completely without knowing if you like it, you can buy the travel size for £10.50 here.

Foundation - UD All Nighter
If you after a foundation that is super full coverage, lasts all night long (like the name suggests) and still looks flawless by the end of the night then you need this in your life. I am never disappointed when I wear this and I always rely on it when I am on a night out. It isn't the most expensive high end foundation costing £29.50 but it is still a lot of money.

Concealer - UD All Nighter
If you have blemish prone skin then you will love this concealer, I only use it for my blemishes because it is too heavy duty for under my eyes but the coverage is unreal. It does oxidise quite a lot so maybe keep that in mind when picking your shade, but I promise you will not regret purchasing it. It costs £20 and the only thing that lets me down about this is that there is only 3.5ml in the bottle.

Powder - KVD Lock It
To me this is worth the splurge because I have dry skin, for ages I was trying to bake with other powders but they just clung to all of my dry patches under my eyes and on my face. However when I discovered this powder I have never looked back, it almost melts into my skin and does not stick to dry patches whatsoever. If you have normal/oily skin it might not be worth it but anyone with dry skin please give this a go! I have the travel size at the moment but I will be buying the full size.

Bronzer - Too Faced Matte
First of all it smells like chocolate (and not the chemically type) which is a winner for me anyway, but the reason I love this is because it is not extremely pigmented. Call me crazy but for us pal gals it is really easy to look muddy with a hell of a lot of bronzer on. I love this because it is buildable and not too much, they've got new packaging that is stunning which should persuade you enough as well.

This is an expensive palette, but I love this for the lightest contour shade because it is the perfect undertone for pale skin. It is not too cool or too warm which is what I like, these pans are very pigmented so just make sure to tap off the excess! If you don't want to buy the full palette I am sure you can buy the refills separately and just put them in a magnetic palette.

You've heard me bang on about this formula many of times before, but for anyone that is new - if you want a long lasting and blinding highlight then you will love this. It is extremely pigmented so be weary of that when applying. This is by far the best formula I have tried to date. The packaging is very nice as well, you definitely get a lot of product so this will last you a long time and you get a huge mirror.

Blusher - Mac Sheertone
It is the same reason I love the Too Faced bronzer and it's because as it suggests in the name, a blush that is not extremely pigmented. I hate blushers that are too much, I like that subtle look so this was a winner for me! I use this quite regularly now and have learned to love blush, it is now included it in my full face routine.

Setting Spray - UD All Nighter
Can you tell I like this range?! I use this every time I go on a night out and when I come home it always still looks fresh, it looks as if I have just applied my makeup. The only thing I don't like about this spray is the smell, it does not smell very nice but I will deal with it because f the good results. I have the travel size of this but I will be purchasing the full size when it runs out.

Also another product I have mentioned before but I rave on about this formula all the time, it is very long lasting even when you have been eating. It is non drying, extremely pigmented and comfortable which are all things I look for in a liquid lipstick. If you have not tried this formula yet then you need to because you will not regret buying it.

So those are the face products I think that is worth the splurge, and if you would like me to do an eye makeup version then let me know in the comments!

GLOSSY BOX OPENING | MAY 2018

Well hello there!
It's time for another Glossy Box Opening, I am sorry this post is going up a little bit later in the month. You know the drill by now, I just talk you through all of the products you can expect in the Glossy Box. The theme this month is a world of pampering, the box is super cute this month it isn't the typical packaging. It has 'daydreamer' on the top of the box with clouds all over the lid and the box itself is a lilac colour.

Maria Nila True Soft Shampoo and Conditioner -  These are from a Swedish brand and it is completely vegan which is very good, they are designed to reduce frizz and the loss of colour due to washing and  heat styling. It says if you apply the conditioner after the shampoo and leave it on for 3 minutes, it is supposed to leave a shiny smooth result. Well these sound pretty damn good and everyone needs shampoo and conditioner so I am looking forward to giving these a go. These are the travel size bottles that are under a fiver each but the full size products retail for £12.98 for the shampoo, and £13.99 for the conditioner.

Kueshi Facial Makeup Remover - This is a double effect calming makeup remover. The clear solution has soft oils and when it mixes with the blue solution it is supposed to remove your makeup gently. It will leave your skin refreshed and clean, I have never used an oil based remover before because I get scared they will break me out. I will try it once and if my skin does not break out I will continue to use it. This retails for £10.50 which is a bit more expensive then an average makeup remover.

Gelspa Jelly Foot Soak - I have never heard of a product like this before but it is a vegan friendly powder that turns water into gel. The soak will gently moisturise and soothe your feet, which sounds good to me because the bottoms of my feet can get really dry.  This 1 use pack costs £4.99.

Trifle Cosmetics Praline Palette - An exciting product in the box this month is this eyeshadow palette, it has super cute packaging with ice creams all over it. It has 6 eyeshadows that are claiming to be pigmented and have a creamy yet velvet smooth texture. This is 100% vegan and free of any nasties which is always good and this palette retails for £15.55.

We are tea black tea bag- This was a little something extra in the box which is nice, I love tea so was pleasantly surprised to see this.

So that is the Glossy Box this month!

MAKEUP COLLECTION SERIES | CONCEALERS

Well hello there!
As you know I have done a couple of posts on parts of my makeup collection, I will link the previous down below. This post is going to be on my concealers, again like my foundations I have way too many.

Primark My Perfect Colour Medium Coverage

Concealer is such a major part of my makeup routine for me, I cannot go a day without wearing it. Even if I don't want to wear foundation I will always have at least concealer and powder on. As you can see I have a hell of a lot of concealers and it's because I am always on the hunt for a new good formulated concealer that has very good coverage. My absolute favourite at the moment is the Urban Decay All Nighter because it covers my blemishes so so well and I wear it almost everyday. I know that is an expensive concealer so if I want a drugstore option I will always opt for the classic Collection Lasting Perfection. I do have a few green concealers because I get a lot of blemishes, and green contrasts against red. They cancel some of the redness out which is good for me. As you can also see I do have a lot of drugstore concealers and just a hand full of high end and that is just personal preference and that I can't afford to continuously buy high end products.

So those are all the concealers in my collection, I know I have too many!
Thank you so much for reading,

I HEART REVOLUTION HAUL & FREE PALETTE?!

Well hello there!
Today I have another drugstore haul for you, I have got to stop buying makeup now I honestly have no more room in my storage which is so bad. I Heart Revolution recently come out with some new exciting products so I have to share them with you!

I have more than enough eyeshadow palettes in my collection so I didn't need anymore, but for some reason I don't actually own any of the I Heart Revolution Eyeshadow Palettes. They have recently come out with 4 mini palettes, which is so ideal for travelling. I picked this one up because the colour scheme is much different from my other palettes. I love that it has neutrals with a pop of green. These mini eyeshadow palettes only cost £6 which is such a bargain, plus it comes with a mirror!

These eyeliner pens are so so cool they look exactly like those pens you used to use when you were younger, so I was automatically drawn to this. I got this brights pen because I have no coloured eyeliners in my collection, it has a a blue, purple, teal and silver. I am excited to experiment with different coloured eyeliner as I never have before. These pens cost £5 for 4 eyeliners which is amazing and these are so good for travelling.

I got another one of the multi liners and this one has 3 eyeliners: a black, brown and a nude, and a nude lip liner. I will definitely be taking this one travelling because it covers any liner you may need. Again it only costs £5, I haven't tested these out yet but I am looking forward to.

I do not have many reds in my collection as I don't really wear reds unless I am in the mood to. I saw their new lipstick collections and they look stunning so I decided to pick one up. They smell like strawberry sweets so I love it already, but also the detail of the dragon scales on the bullet looks very impressive. It has quite a dip on the top which I have never seen before on a lipstick, and these cost £4.

Revolution The 1,000,000 Palette
This is a limited edition palette and actually came free when you spent over £15 on the Revolution Beauty website.  They did this because they reached 1,000,000 followers on their Instagram page which is exciting. I don't actually think you can get this anymore so I am sorry for mentioning it but I did get it free with this order. It is a really sleek palette, much different to their other ones. It comes with 8 shades and a mirror.

So that was my mini haul!
Thank you so much for reading,
