W7 HOLLYWOOD BRONZE & GLOW PALETTE REVIEW

Well hello there!
I have another review post for you today and I am going to be reviewing the W7 Hollywood Bronze & Glow Palette. You can buy this on the W7 website and it costs only £5.95 which is super cheap for a bronzer and a highlighter in one palette.

Packaging
The packaging is very drugstore like, I think all of the stars on the lid make it look like its aimed at younger teenagers. Nevertheless it is a pretty brown colour and this fits in with the bronzer. It feels super light which is another giveaway at the fact it is drugstore. When you open it up you are presented with the bronzer and highlighter, and this looks exactly like the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Palette. There is also a strip mirror in the palette which I don't really see the point of as you can see hardly anything in it.

Swatches

Application
When I dip my brush into the pans there is the tiniest bit of fall out but really not a lot. When applying the bronzer to my cheeks to be honest it isn't really that pigmented, I like buildable bronzers but this takes many layers to build up. I only saw it a little on my face but the colour does look nice for a lighter skin tone. I flashed the torch on my phone and shined it on my face to have a look at how glittery it is, and my goodness it has so much! I mean if you like shimmery bronzers then you will love this but for me I wont be reaching for this everyday. The highlighter is light gold shade and is actually really pretty. It applies very nicely and does not have any chunky glitter in it at all, and it looks very smooth on the skin.

Longevity
I feel like the bronzer may have faded away slightly and just left me with a glittery face but I might not have put enough on? I was really digging my brush in there and I couldn't see much. The highlighter was definitely still there at the end of the day so that's a plus.

Opinion
I am not the biggest fan of the bronzer but the highlighter is super pretty! As said before I won't be reaching for this on an everyday basis, however if I do want that sun glow look I will be using this again. I do really like the highlighter, it looks more golden on the face then it does in the pan so I think this may be a tiny bit dark for pale skin tones. You are only paying £5.95 for a bronzer and a highlighter and I think that is a really good deal. If this is something you would like then I definitely would recommend it, it's not terrible it just isn't my cup of tea for everyday use.

So that was my review on the W7 Bronze & Glow Palette.
Thank you so much for reading,

MAKEUP COLLECTION SERIES | POWDERS

Well hello there!
Welcome to the next part in my makeup collection series, this will be on the powders I have in my collection. Just a heads up, any big parts of my collection I will be doing YouTube videos on them instead as my post would be extremely long! I have already done my Highlighter Collection on my channel, so be sure to check that out.

Powder is also a big part in my makeup routine, if I do not set my foundation and concealer in place my face will become a hot mess. I have been on the hunt for powders that do not  just set my makeup but ones that do not cling to my dry patches and I think I found it!

Makeup Forever HD Powder

Affect Rice Powder

Powders play a massive part in my routine because I need to set my cream products in place in order to control my oils. I do also get a bit of dry skin so I need a powder that won't cling to my dry patches. I have my best pressed powder and my best loose powder. The best pressed powder I own is the NYX HD Powder, it is so finely milled so it doesn't cling to my dry patches. However it does flash back so I wear this during the day when I'm not taking any photos. The best loose powder I have is the Kat Vod D translucent one, it looks beautiful on the skin and sinks nicely in.

So those are all the powders I have in my collection.
Thank you so much for reading,

GLOSSY BOX OPENING | JUNE 2018

Well hello there!
Welcome to another Glossy Box Opening! This is for the month of June and it is all about getting that sun-kissed and sophisticated French look. It includes cult favourite from brands including skin and hair care.

Nip + Fab Exfoliate Scrub -
So I was pleasantly surprised to see this in the box as I am familiar with the brand,  never tried any of their skin care before. This is supposed to re-texture your skin and cleanse your pores.
I am obsessed with facial cleansers and this sounds like a really good one. This is the travel size but the full size retails for £9.95.

Laritzy Bronzing Stick -
I was excited to see this because it is a makeup item and I do not have any bronzing sticks in my collection. It is a beautiful c
olour which I believe will suit many skin tones, and it is in nice and compact packaging. I am looking forward to testing this out.

Novex Deep Hair Mask -
This is a hair mask that is designed for people that suffer with dryness. It has Baobab Oil in it which is known for its high moisturising action and good emollience power.
I don't really use hair masks so I probably won't reach for this but for people that do use hair masks this sounds like a good one. This smaller tub retails for $9.99.

Monuskin Eye Cool Gel -
This is a refreshing gel that instantly revives and tones tired eyes, reduces puffiness and dark circles. I have been saying for ages that I need to buy an under eye serum, this sounds amazing to me so I am very excited to start using this! The full size of this retails for £26.95.

Wilkinson Intuition f.a.b. Razor -
You can never have enough razors, they all pretty much do the same thing but Wilkinson say that this gives you
optimal control without having to lift the razor from your skin. This will give you an effortlessly close and comfortable shave for fabulously perfect pins. A razor is a razor to me but I will use this when I need a new one! This is a new product and retails for £5.99.

So that was the June Glossy Box Opening.

MY 5 PRODUCT FACE

Well hello there!
Today I am going to be sharing with you my 5 product face that I wear while I am at work and when I cannot be bothered to do a full face. Everyone's 5 product face is different, but this is what I tend to do.

I don't wear primer everyday I just put some moisturiser on, so I jump straight in with foundation. For long hour days I usually go for matte foundations as they last longer on my skin, and at the moment I am loving the Maybelline Super Stay Foundation which is only £9.99. This foundation lasts a long time and has amazing coverage for day to day.

I then go in with a pressed matte powder to set that all in place for the day. I have to do this on my skin otherwise I will look like an oily mess, sometimes I powder half way through the day as well. At the moment I have loving the NYX HD Pressed Powder in Banana, this is such a good finely milled powder that mattifies the skin perfectly.

I will then go in with a bit of bronzer so my face does not look like a pasty ghost. I do use the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer as it is buildable, and I only want a little bit on to warm up my face. This bronzer is expensive but a good drugstore alternative is the Rimmel Natural Bronzer.

I then need to put some mascara on my eyelashes otherwise I look even younger than I look already. I have been OBSESSED with the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara, it lasts a very long time on my eyelashes and it is super easy to take off. Mascara just makes it look like you're more put together then you really are.

For the final product, I will put on a pretty everyday nude lipstick. As mentioned in my May Favourites, I have been using the Revolution Lipstick in Chauffeur. This is such a good browny nude shade for pale skin, it has a really good finish to it and it is super cheap being only £3!

So that is My 5 Product Face, I hope you enjoyed reading! What makeup products are in your 5 product face?!
