Welcome to Blogmas Day 16 and for today I wanted to share with you my Top 5 Winter Lips. We are at the start of the colder months now so to me this calls for vampy lips! Obviously I love nudes they are my absolute fav, but there's just something about winter that makes me want to bring out the vampy lips. I have come up with my top 5 lipsticks I have been wearing through winter so far, and these are both drugstore and high end. I am a huge makeup hoarder so I have a tonne of lipsticks, let me know in the comments if you are the same!
I am a huge fan of the Bare Minerals liquid lip formula and this colour just screams winter for me. It is such a beautiful purple shade that will flatter any skin tone, and they are super pigmented. The formula is creamy, smooth and long lasting - what is there not to like?!
If you are someone who prefers a creamy lipstick, then this is the one for you. I will always be drawn to matte lips but when I am after something a bit more moisturising I will gravitate towards this. The colour fudge is a chocolate brown shade which is perfect for this time of year, they are very pigmented - plus it is only £4!
This is a rosey lilac shade which looks stunning on the lips, and it is also matte and that's why I got it. It is not a dry matte formula and especially because it is winter that is the last thing that you want. When I wore this at work I got a few compliments and people asked what it was so that's when you know you're wearing a beautiful shade!
I know it must seem like I include Revolution products a lot, but that is because it's my favourite brand and I really really like their makeup. This is such a beautiful red vampy shade and is obviously perfect for the festive season as well. These lipsticks are very cheap at £3 and the formula is very good, I wore this on a night out once and it lasted such a long time.
I love Jeffree Star lipsticks, it is by far my favourite formula and I have accumulated a lot over the past year. This is another deep purple shade that I love, and it also had a brown tone in it which makes it perfect for a winter lip. I have been wearing this one a lot recently especially at work and I absolutely love it.
